I started with distance events in 2009 when I ran my first competitive 5K. I yelled coming down the entire chute to the finish, “Cheer for me! This is my first ever 5K run! Best day ever!” It was great. I cried. I drank orange juice. I was hooked. I gradually moved into longer distance races, 8K, 10K, and half marathons. After finishing marathon season in 2013, my then coach convinced me to give triathlon a try. I have NEVER looked back. I have never been a good planner. I often show up to swim practice without either my goggles, swim cap, or suit. Yes. I am THAT athlete, but one thing I’ll never struggle with ever again, is my workout plan! TriDot Training System takes the guess work out of the workout. I started using TriDot shortly after the summer of 2018. What I absolutely LOVE about this system is the more effort you put in, the greater gains you’ll get out. The coaching is superb and the community is a hoot! Best group of athletes around; hand down. I’m looking forward to how far I can grow from that slow jogger that crossed her first 5K so long ago. Bring on my next race!
